Job Title: Sales Associate - Luxury Bookstore
Location: Mayfair, London
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time
Hours: 37.5 hours (over 5 days - to work alternate Saturdays)
Salary: £30,000-£35,000 per annum (DOE)

Our client, a world-leading rare book dealership based in West London, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Associate to join their team. In this role, you will play a key part in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining impeccable presentation in the Mayfair shop and gallery, and working alongside their rare book specialists.
Responsibilities include:
- Handling sales inquiries and correspondence from various channels
- Assisting in-store customers, providing exceptional service and knowledgeable advice
- Representing the organisation at trade fairs, with occasional overseas travel
- Supporting shop logistics and maintaining the store's appearance
- Taking care of day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations
- Assisting with personalised requests and offering tailored recommendations
- Collaborating with the rest of the team to ensure smooth daily operations
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Comfortable and confident speaking with a wide range of clients
- Resourceful and able to solve problems quickly under pressure
- Experience in luxury retail with a strong focus on exceptional service
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Highly organised and detail-oriented
- Experience in working collaboratively within a team
- Strong literary interests
