As the Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, representing our client's organisation in a professional and courteous manner. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all who enter the office.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
- Answer and redirect phone calls, taking detailed messages when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the reception area, ensuring it is presentable at all times.
- Receive and distribute mail and deliveries.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments and meetings for the team.
- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed, including filing, photocopying, and data entry.
- Keep an accurate record of visitors and contractors coming in and out of the office.
- Handle and resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Receptionist or in a similar role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced environments.
- Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professional appearance and demeanour.
