Project Controls Officer for an Award Winning Consultancy


Salary - up to £45k DOE


Hybrid - 2 Days in the Office 3 days WFH

Are you ready to take the next step in your career? Our client, a leading architecture firm, is seeking a talented Project Controls Officer to join their team. If you have a passion for project administration, financial controls, and a keen eye for detail, then this opportunity is perfect for you!


Responsibilities:



  • Assist senior team members in administering and controlling all aspects of the project, including project plans, documentation, time reporting, and financial controls.

  • Support in the development and maintenance of project schedules and resource requirements.

  • Analyse and identify discrepancies between estimated and actual time and cost spent.

  • Provide project-planning support, including scheduling, budgeting, performance monitoring, and variance analysis.

  • Coordinate and lead planning sessions and workshops to compile the master project schedule.

  • Ensure all deliverables are defined and presented according to our client's quality standards.

  • Collaborate with the Accounts team and Data Manager for coordination and reporting purposes.

  • Contribute to internal and external audits on the team's projects.

  • Demonstrate excellent soft skills such as teamwork, proactivity, organisation, and self-motivation.

  • Display exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Possess a keen attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a larger team.


Requirements:



  • A highly numerate individual with excellent IT skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Basic understanding of project programming principles and open to training in Project Controls software systems.

  • Previous experience working in an architecture/design-led environment is a plus.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
