An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join an existing finance team as a Purchase Ledger Assistant for our client based in Maldon.
As a Purchase Ledger Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of the purchase ledger cycle for assigned key accounts. Working closely with the Sales Ledger Manager, you will have the chance to make a real impact on the success of our client's business.
Responsibilities:
- Inputting invoices accurately onto the system, maintaining a high level of attention to detail at all times.
- Completing ad hoc duties to contribute to the efficient operation of the finance team.
- Reconciling large supplier accounts to statements, ensuring accuracy and resolving any discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborating with various suppliers and departments across all levels of the business to facilitate effective communication.
Skills Required:
- Precise attention to detail is essential for this role, as you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required to effectively manage and analyse data.
- Excellent communication skills are necessary to liaise with colleagues, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- A flexible and approachable manner, combined with self-motivation and the ability to work well with others, will contribute to your success in this role.
- Strong organisational skills are essential to manage your own workload and multitask efficiently.
