The role - Part-time Administrator
Hours - 18 hours per week (split over 3 or 5 days)
Salary - £24-27k (pro rata) - depending on experience
Location - Glasgow City Centre (fully office based)

Our client, a leading Life Science organisation, is currently seeking an Office Administrator to join their team on a permanent part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of the organisation and provide administrative support to the Senior Leadership team.


My client is willing to be relatively flexible regarding working hours but ideally, they would be looking for one of the following work patterns -
Work pattern 1 = 2 full days (Mon and Wed) + 1 morning (Friday)
or
Work pattern 2 = 5 mornings per week (Monday to Friday)

Key Duties & Responsibilities:



* Carry out basic procurement and purchasing of company materials following QMS processes.
* Assist the Quality and Regulatory team with document sign-offs and basic scanning and filing duties.
* Collate and process expense claims and receipts from all staff.
* Coordinate national and international travel arrangements for staff and visitors.
* Arrange and facilitate company meetings, including board meetings, by booking facilities, meeting rooms, and catering.
* Provide assistance with basic financial management tasks and queries.
* Support project administration, particularly grant-funded projects, through the collation of expense claims, calculation of financial claims, management of company timesheets, and generating reports.
* Generate meeting agendas and perform minuting tasks as needed.


Skills:



* Previous experience in an office administration post.
* Knowledge of records management.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* A professional and friendly demeanour, with the ability to interact with a wide range of stakeholders, including international contacts.
* Strong organisational and time management abilities.
* Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
