Part Time Accounts Assistant - Immediate Start - Temp Contract


Location: Chessington with onsite parking


Start Date: August 2024


End Date: January- February 2025


Working Pattern: Part Time - 16 hours a week (over 2 or 3 days per week)


Hourly Rate: £12 to £14


We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our client's team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a passion for finance to contribute to the success of a thriving organisation.


Responsibilities:



  • Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports

  • Processing invoices, payments, and expenses accurately and efficiently using Sage50 software

  • Conducting financial bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies

  • Confidentaly chasing customer payments

  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records

  • Supporting the Finance Manager and team with ad-hoc tasks as required


What we're looking for:



  • Prior experience in a similar role

  • Prior experience using Sage50

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills

  • Attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities

  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines


The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. They will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
