As the Operations Inbound Coordinator, you will be responsible for short-term planning and purchasing activities, ensuring optimised customer service and inventory targets. JOB TITLE: Operations Inbound Coordinator

SALARY: £27,000 - £30,000


Key Responsibilities:



  • Recommend, issue, and track purchase orders for components, filling & finished goods

  • Maintain full visibility of purchase orders and track through to delivery

  • Own supplier relationships, acting as the point of contact and conducting weekly open orders calls

  • Conduct monthly inventory reconciliations on components at supplier locations

  • Analyse and report on excess, obsolete, and discontinued items

  • Collaborate with Logistics to ensure timely inbound delivery of purchase orders

  • Develop logistics requirements with suppliers

  • Coordinate with Demand Planning and warehouse management team to ensure proper stock allocation

  • Drive lead-time improvement and agility projects

  • Create and revise part numbers and bills of materials as needed

  • Generate reports and tools for visibility on inventory locations

  • Assist in price reviews and negotiations

  • Resolve invoice discrepancies

  • Communicate and escalate risks to cross-functional teams

  • Prepare reports for Senior Management


Qualifications:



  • Minimum of two years of experience in FMCG Outbound Operations management

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent analysis abilities

  • Thrives under pressure and welcomes challenges

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills

  • Resilient and self-motivated

  • Previous experience in the retail sector is a must, with Beauty industry experience preferred
