Our client is seeking a dynamic and organised individual with a passion for ensuring smooth operations in a busy office environment. Our client, a leading organisation, is seeking an enthusiastic Office Manager to support their Senior Management team and contribute to their success!



Location: Faversham



Salary: £27,000 - £30,000



Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 4pm



Annual leave: 20 days



Hybrid: Yes, after completing probation, 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home

About the Role:


As the Office Manager, you will play a vital role in maintaining the backbone of the organisation. You will work closely with the Managing Director, and will be responsible for a variety of essential functions that help keep the business running efficiently. This is an incredible opportunity for someone with a proactive attitude and a knack for multitasking!



Key Responsibilities:




  • Oversee the company's financial and banking systems using Sage, including dealings with HMRC and accountants.

  • Manage Monthly PAYE processes to ensure timely and accurate employee compensation.

  • Make orders on behalf of the organisation while fostering positive relationships with both suppliers and customers.

  • Implement and maintain the organisation's Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001, conducting internal audits as needed.

  • Manage the Health and Safety policies and procedures within the business.

  • Oversee HR functions, ensuring a positive workplace for all employees.

  • Responsible for the organisation's vehicles, plant, and tools.

  • Assist the Senior Management team with company accreditations.

  • Handle all aspects of insurance for the business.

  • Arrange travel logistics for directors and senior management to facilitate their work.

  • Collate expenses and conduct job costing for financial clarity.

  • Manage incoming calls and maintain effective communication channels.

  • Organise shipping and deliveries for smooth operations.



Our client is seeking to recruit someone with the following:




  • Proven experience in a similar office management role.

  • Accounts experience is essential.

  • Knowledge of and experience in Health & Safety regulations.

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Explorer).

  • Experience with SAGE accountancy software.

  • A friendly demeanour with excellent interpersonal skills to represent the organisation at trade fairs.
