Our client is an established and trusted property expert with over 15 years of experience. They are proud to be Newcastle's leading property specialist. They are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Finance Administrator. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the Accounts/Finance team, working closely with rest of the business to ensure the smooth operation of the financial processes.


Hours of work - Mon to Fri 9.00-5.30 (37.5 hours week) - Please note: This is a permanent position requiring full-time availability. Very occasional weekend work might be required during peak seasons, but time off is offered in lieu.


Salary of up to £24k for the right candidate, this is the perfect role for a budding Finance Administrator, or if you already have some Accounts/Finance experience and want to work for a company who truly care about its employees - This is the role for you.


Qualifications and skills required:



  • Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.

  • A customer-focused mindset and the ability to communicate effectively with tenants and landlords.

  • Some prior experience in finance would be ideal but not essential

  • Proficiency in using Sage 50 software would also be an advantage.


Responsibilities include:



  • Handling tenant queries regarding charges and invoices.

  • Proactively following up on arrears using pre-determined letter templates.

  • Verifying contractor invoices and obtaining necessary approvals and quotations.

  • Collaborating with the Admin department to track tenant payments.

  • Allocating rent payments accurately and on time.

  • Bank posting and adding to the ledger.

  • Liaising with landlords to discuss payment plan options when necessary.
